About This Website

細-蟹（Sasa-gani or a tiny crab) is an archaic Japanese word that indicates a spider.

The aim of this site is to introduce the diversity of Japanese spiders with close-up photoraphs.

 Photographs of 850 species from 57 families are available (2021/8/24).
